HOW SHOULD I COMPLETE THE IGCSE?

If you have time complete the pre-coursework before you commence lessons. This covers essential KS3 (pre-IGCSE) maths and science.

Choose when you want to take your exams (they run yearly in May/June and November).

Select a timetable to match the exams you wish to take. You may wish to adapt one to alternative start dates.

Choose whether you want to attend live sessions (these follow the SEP 2023 - JUNE 2025 timetable), recorded previous live lessons, the video course or a combination.
WHERE ARE THE TIMETABLES?
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE MY PLANS?
Your £100 payment entitles you to any live session in your subject and the existing recorded course. Feel free to change your plans. You don't need to let us know. For example, if you start with the September live sessions and decide to move quicker, complete the video course yourself and take earlier exams.
It's all very adaptable. Just start at lesson 1 on your account and work your way through. Alternatively, the live session tutor will guide you there when they commence.

PRE-COURSEWORK
You can find this on your account under 'pre-coursework'.
Complete by November 1st 11.59pm to enter our annual ‘maths for IGCSE science’ competition.

RULES
- The winner will have the highest percentage score on the pre-coursework 'maths for IGCSE science' final exam.
- If there is a tie, the student who completes in the shortest time wins.
- The first attempt will be counted as your entry.
- The competition is open until 11.59pm November 1st 2023.
- Entries will count from June 1st 2023.

You can ask questions via chat during live sessions, message a tutor (usually me, Jo) via your account (click on the speech bubble in the top right and search for tutor). You're also welcome to email jo@swscienceschool.co.uk but I do respond faster via your account.
