REFUNDS POLICY

1. ONLINE TUTOR SUPPORT

1.1 Online tutor support, herein referred to as “OTS” commences when the you, the client, first submits a request to your tutor.

1.2 The service is subject to a 30 day cooling off period. Cancellation within these 30 days will null the contract between SWSS and the client. However, if the client has utilised the OTS service within the 30 days period they will be charged a sum proportionate to the number of days used. For example, if the client commences the service three days after payment and cancels ten days later, they will be charged for seven days.

2. PROFESSIONAL MARKING

2.1 Professional marking through SWSS, herein referred to as “PM” commences, for the purpose of refunds, at the time of payment.

2.2 You are entitled to a full refund if you choose not to use the service within 30 days

2.3 For a further 60 days you are entitled to store credit equal to the sum spent on PM.

3. CV OVERHAUL

3.1 CV overhaul through SWSS, herein referred to as “CVO” commences, for the purpose of refunds, at the time of payment.

3.2 You are entitled to a full refund if you choose not to use the service within 30 days.

3.3 For a further 60 days you are entitled to store credit equal to the sum spent on PM.

4. TUITION

4.1 If tuition is purchased through our online store via a credit or gift subscription if the service is not booked for 30 days you are entitled to a full refund. For a further 60 days you are entitled to store credit equal to the original sum.

4.2 If tuition has been booked, cancellation the morning of the session allows a 100% refund. Up to two hours before the session you are eligible for a 50% refund. If the tutor is not informed and travels to the venue and you do not arrive you are liable for the travel costs incurred by the tutor in addition to 100% of the tuition fee.

5. COMPLETE ONLINE GCSE & A LEVEL COURSES (INCLUDING REVISION)

5.1 Buyers are entitled to a 100% refund if their place on the course is cancelled within 30 days from date of purchase up to 14 days before the course start date.

5.2 Buyers are entitled to a 75% store credit if their place on the course is cancelled at least two weeks after the course start date.

5.3 Buyers may substitute a place on the course to another student at their own discretion and organisation. This must be completed and the school notified within two weeks after the course start date. The first buyer is responsible for the redistribution of course materials (if any).

5.4 After the two weeks preceding the course start date the buyer is entitled to no refund or store credit unless purchased within two weeks before the course start date. Then the buyer is entitled to 100% refund within 14 days of date of purchase and 75% store credit within 30 days of date of purchase.

5.5 A refund can only be issued when any specified material is returned at the buyers expense in a new, resalable condition.

5.6 If a course is cancelled after the time frames described in subsection 5.1 and/or subsection 5.2 and/or subsection 5.3 and/or subsection 5.4 the student will be liable for the full course fee, even if this is being paid by installments. This is because once the course has commenced we will no longer be able to fill your space.

5. CANCELLING PROCEDURE

5.1.To cancel, clients most notify SWSS via email. Cancellation will commence from the date and time of delivery of email. In the case of private or group tuition, you may cancel by telephoning your tutor.

5.2 Any refunds will be within 14 days from the date of cancellation. It is the responsibility of the client to cancel any payments with their bank or paypal where necessary.
